You have a serious problem. Your obsession with weight and the scale is not normal. The fact that you don't even try to hide the fact that you're constantly ingesting laxatives and diuretics (the use of which is considered a MAJOR sign of a serious eating or body image disorder) shows just how delusional you are. You have convinced yourself that this way of life is acceptable, but one day you will wake up with shattered health and no clear reversible path. Get some help.
I couldn't disagree more. If you evaluate her average food consumption during the day, it's usually all fresh fruits, veggies, and fresh squeezed juice. People that pick on skinny chicks are usually jealous that they lack the discipline required to keep their bodies such awesome shape.
As a side note, after I started reading this blog a few months ago, I started spinning at my gym, watching my portions more, and overall started respecting my body more--losing 15 lbs that had accumulated from unhealthy habits. You can tell Catalina is full of positive, confident energy, and that her life is more than her scale--she's inspirational!
who cares, it all becomes so boring.I'm much more interested in other parts of the blog , but the wt. stuff doesn't bother me and sometimes it motivates me. But I do get way bored with the scale post especially when they're a friends. I mean really? I don't give a shit what they weigh. I love the fashion and beauty stuff the weight stuff is part of that but not my fave, but I accept it as part of the whole package. So I just scroll on and go to the parts of the blog i like which almost everything.
Why does she have to be labeled as a "hater?" You're probably one of those people I label as a "follower." As the saying goes, "those who run with sheep, follow shit." I surely don't want anyone like you to be my so-called friend if I had an eating disorder, cheering me on and feeding my addiction.
what i have observed over the years: is that the very people who go ballistic, monitoring OTHER people's food choices/weight stuff and telling them they need help to the nth degree are always the ones who have an eating disorder themselves....and they don't say "get help" out of concern but rather jealousy. Saw it too many times to count.
i generally like this blog, but the focus on weight really concerns me, especially because it involves the use of diuretics and constant weighing. i don't think anyone should be quick to call someone an anorexic without having all of the facts, but i do think that focusing this much on weight cannot be good for the mind, soul, or body.
I'm glad that you're very health concious, but monitoring your food/weight numbers to the point that is a major part of your life is not healthy. I certainly agree with the above poster. Sometimes your friends are not the healthiest source of inspiration. I like your blog, but I think some things needs a little bit of work. You are truly an inspiration for us all, and I hope you don't take my comment negatively. Best wishes and keep posting!
i like coming on your blog to see posts about fashion and the makeup and hair... but now i think it's become more about your weight and food. it's sickening. your body is not meant to be that weight if you have to restrict your diet and consumption to the extreme that you do. you go from binging and being free to eat whatever you want to replacing breakfast with your smooth move or 'the drink' and eating very little. even tho you're not anorexic your site feels very similar to those pro-anorexia sites. your view and focus on weight is not healthy and you seem very proud of obsession. a lot of the things you eat are healthy and good for you... but your portions and extreme ups and downs are going to hurt your health in the long run.
It does seem lately your always talking about food this and food that and constantly weighing yourself and as soon as you stuff your face and go up 3 pounds you freakin starve yourself. I really do still love your blog and its nice to see what your doing here and there but i would like to see more tips and stuff like you did when you first started.
keep up the honesty girl! I appreciate how open you are. there is nothing worse than seeing people in the industry who maintain a slender figure and claim to eat whatever they want in moderation and exercise. Personally, I never believe this anyways. I am sure anyone who sees a model posting a picture of her eating a peice of cake is thinking "how can she eat that!" and assuming there is a trick they are missing out on. Skinny takes hard work and self discipline. And sometimes we need motivation, like this pic! and this blog gives me that!!
I don't think she's posting these kinds of posts out of honesty or transparency or to motivate any of us.. This blog has turned into a tool to feed her narrcisim and track her daily weight and food consumption... Or lack there of. There's a difference between self-discipline and what she's doing... She takes it to another level. And I don't think any of these comments are out of jealousy or hate. People are concerned there's an issue. Because its obvious... And she doesn't seem to know she has a problem... Or doesn't care.
Anyone reading this blog would have the same obsession with food and weight and dream of a lifestyle too where we can work flexi hours, mix with celebrities and buy beautiful clothes and makeup. If you don't share the same view, then what the f* are you doing here stirring up trouble? There are many other sites and blogs that would fit your interests, whatever they may be, or do you get a kick out of sharing your disdain or feeling superior to someone being honest about what it takes to make it in LA?
