Some Kashi bars have chicory root in them , great fiber for digestion, but can make some have gas and bloating.

Hi Lina, I've heard Kashi is a horrible brand they put false information on the box! The only healthy bars I know are Lara bars and kind bars! Xo

i wish lara bars weren't so high in sugar. yes they are all natural and great, but i can't get over the sugar content... although certainly better than refined sugar.

i wish they had bars similar to lara and kind bars with natural fruit sugars but with very low sugar content relative to the bar. 18 grams of sugar is just SO much (lara apple pie, lara lemon bar, etc...)

Anon 8:06, try looking into MacroBars or Health Warrior Chia Bars. The chia bars are tiny and only 100 calories so they are better as a snack but they are SO delicious, especially the acai flavor, and the low sugar content is easily reconcilable with the protein/fiber content. As for the MacroBars- each variety has completely different nutritional stats, and some are way higher in sugar than I would ever want but I think if I remember correctly the cashew and the chocolate chip peanut butter are the best nutritionally and taste wise. Be sure to drink a tall glass of water with both bars too to help optimize the fiber. I hope this helps :)

I like NuGo bars, they don't have chemicals, full of fibre really yummy and only 2g of sugar.
They are sweetened with chicory root, a bit hard to find but they sell them at vitacost.
