if 14 bones = $14, NO! not worth it. the sandals don't look that special.
I love them, but seriously... I know you make a nice living but at some point they are SANDALS! Now on the flips side, you DO wear your shit and that's great, and you would be happy every time you put these on. Shoes get thrashed and then they're done where as a bag or jewelry can be worn for much longer. Then again, you bought those pants (leather and jeans) and didn't blink n eye! I would return those pants and get the sandals cus at least they are hot as hell and you would wear the hell out of them. my 2 cents. :)

I think go the knock offs. I prefer the buckles on the side, rather than between your toes!
Do you buy for the style or exclusivity? If it's for the strictly style and the Zara version is good in person then get those. If you want something that others lust after and not many will have then the Balmain! But then what does that say? idk lol i like them both and the Zara's would give me the fix.

I thought you liked to keep it simple and not buy a load of stuff?? 1400.00 for sandals that will be out of style in 6 months is insane!
KNOCK IT, LINA! Balmains don't look good enough to splurge.
What makes them say Balmain is only the name under your feet other than that they look like any ordinary sandal. If you're going to spend that kind of cash, it better be a statement piece that screams Balmain! :-)

The whole point of Lina's style (which I think MANY people can learn something from) is that she doesn't buy shit that screams designer (like her Hermes belt, you know... the basic black belt she wears that DOESN'T have the H belt buckle). Wearing things that scream designer is tacky... The one exception *might* be handbags, but again... MIGHT.
For me, just knowing that its special and a quality piece is enough for me... No one else needs to know that its expensive.

Yeah Lina never wears obvious designers- except Cartier Love bracelet, Hermes bracelets, LV luggage, Chanel bag, Chloe boots, Celine shoes the list goes on and on. LMAO- I like her style but to say she doesn't wear obvious Designer Labels is a joke. Anyone that follows fashion knows what designers she's wearing and she kinda always goes for the "of the moment" pieces( in a good way) Just because she didn't go with the obvious Hermes(dated) belt doesn't mean she's fooling anyone. :) Great style but it's very designer based with low end pieces mix in.
